With the ongoing saga of Operation Rainfall, there seems to be a faint glimmer of hope of bringing Xenoblade and The Last Story to North America. A source within Nintendo, who wishes to remain anonymous, recently reported to members of Operation Rainfall that the NTSC (ie North American) version of Xenoblade has been completed.
The source states that Xenoblade was completed well over a month ago, with testing of the PAL and NTSC version of The Last Story about to begin with in a month’s time. There is still no word on localization of the third game that Operation Rainfall is campaigning for, Pandora’s Tower.
Now since there is still no official word from Nintendo of America, these statements are to be treated as speculation. However it’s good to see that the campaign started by Operation Rainfall is showing to be somewhat effective, as seen by an informant within NOA willing to share this information. Hopefully this will lead to an official announcement soon.
