When PETA came after Call of Duty: World at War for letting you kill attack dogs, I'd figure that this was just another ploy for them to piggyback off something popular while trying to send a message to their members that they're actually doing something rather than finding different ways for hot chicks to be naked for their ads. Then came the Cooking Mama spoof they did showing everyone's how horrible Thanksgiving is because of the dead animals we feast upon. Now, they're going after Mario, and PETA, you have gone too far.
Similar to the Cooking Mama spoof, PETA has another flash game featuring Mario called "Mario Kills Tanooki." In this "game" you play a Tanuki, racoon dog, that is chasing after Mario who is flying away in fur. Apparently, PETA is triyng to bring to light that the tanuki is being skinned for its fur which isn't a bad message. I mean it's PETA, this is what they do along with killing thousands of animals that they save. My problem, along with pretty much every single gamer, is PETA's insane idea that Mario is condoning this practice. Cause that's what I thought when I played Super Mario Bros. 3, I thought that now I need a new fur coat cause Mario was in a Tanooki suit. PETA is crazy, and this further proves that point.
